Pink Floyd is indeed the master of psychedelic rock as they have successfully influenced a number of rock groups long after their reign...rock music videos Pink Floyd on stage were also memorable and spectacular. In 1996, the band was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band humble beginnings can be traced back to 1965. The group was very visible in the London underground music scene then.

Pink Floyd was initially composed of Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Syd Barrett, and Nick Mason, all of whom are university students. In 1979, Wright left the band and after six years, Waters followed. Pink Floyd immediately enjoyed commercial success with a debut album entitled "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn". The album allowed them to easily penetrate mainstream music.

The top singles from that album are "See Emily Play" and "Arnold Layne". Pink Floyd also made waves with subsequent collections such as "The Division Bell", "A Momentary Lapse of Reason", "The Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish You Were Here", "Animals", and "The Wall". The group disbanded in 1996 but returned for a reunion concert in 2005 and 2007.

All the rock music videos Pink Floyd created are quite notable. But one of the nicest is the "Arnold Layne" music video, where the band members are dressed-up like mannequins. This video was produced in black and white and was actually the first promotional video of this song...although another music video was released for the same song and it featured them performing in Highgate right at the grounds of St. Michael's Church.

Among the best rock music videos Pink Floyd produced is that one for "Another Brick in the Wall". A video which shows students running around a playground. The teacher is a puppet, the one that the group used for "The Wall" series of concerts. There were animated scenes in this video as well.

The rock music videos Pink Floyd made for "Corporal Clegg" are just as grand because like many of these songs, this one has two rock videos elaborated for promotional purposes. The original one was intended for the RTB TV of Belgium while the second was shot for SDR TV of West Germany.
