The Canadians have successfully broken into the rock n' roll music scene with The Guess Who, a band hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Because of the band's huge success, they were fully inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, a distinction bestowed upon them in 1987.

The Guess Who was initially composed of Randy Bachman on guitars, Chad Allan on vocals and guitar, Jim Kale on bass, Bob Ashley on keyboards, and Garry Peterson on drums. When Ashley left, Burton Cummings joined the group...after a few months, Chad Allan exited and that move Cummings to the lead vocalist role. The Guess Who was formed in 1960.

The band managed to release hit singles in Canada, the US, and Australia even if they don't have an album yet. The band's first single was "Tribute To Buddy Holly". Then it was followed by "Just Like Romeo and Juliet". They also made a rendition of "Shakin' All Over", which is a Johnny Kid and The Pirates original.

It became No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100.
